Patrick: Founder & Director of Operations

Arthur: General Manager
I like working at The Shepherd Center because the organization touches lives of children directly and changes them completely. I find joy in working with children who are the greatest in God’s kingdom. TSC also aims at transforming the whole society.

Edison: Social Worker
I like working with The Shepherd Center because it is a place that reminds me of the great things God has done in my life. In addition, I like working with the marginalized groups, including street children, and helping them realize their potential.

Martin: Center Guide
To me, The Shepherd Center is like home. I feel it was God’s call to do His work to help these young boys from the streets, and to see them grow into big men for a better Uganda. I like working at TSC because of the people who are committed to help these young boys, like those who fund the center and the Director.

Obed: Social Worker
I am privileged to work at The Shepherd Center because it reflects the love of Jesus Christ upon the boys’ lives. I love to see the boys inspired, encouraged, motivated, and equipped to face life on their own in the future as a living testimony.

Olivia: Cook
It is my desire, and makes me feel good, to see the boys eating. I like to spend time with children while playing with them and preparing food for them.

Eunice: Cook
Working with The Shepherd Center and seeing how it helps transform street boys into great men and God-fearing people gives me joy. I also get help because the project facilitates us with salaries to support our families.

Ronald: Security
I thought working as a security person with the street boys was going to be the hardest job in my life, but I found that the boys are completely changed and obedient, which makes my work easier and a joy to see how they have changed.

Justus: Groundskeeper
Being a neighbor to The Shepherd Center, I always wanted to go and work there because the staff and boys are exemplary in the community and The Shepherd Center is a special place.

Lisa: Administrative Support & Child Sponsorship Coordinator
I met Patrick in 2010, on my first trip to Uganda, and we have been friends since then. In 2013 I moved to Uganda to serve as missionary full-time. I was happy to join Patrick and the rest of the staff at The Shepherd Center in 2017.
After taking care of two vulnerable young boys in my own home, a concern and a passion has grown within me for other boys with no where to go. I love to see God’s redemption lived out in the lives of these boys with the work of His faithful servants working together to demonstrate His love.
