We were recently blessed to have a couple of weeks with our friends Jacob & Catherine from England.
Before coming, they did some fundraising and made a significant contribution to our chicken project. We are getting things together to raise chickens both for eggs and meat. Our desire is to use these projects to help us generate some income and help us to be a bit more self-sustaining. With the funds that Jacob and Catherine brought to Uganda, we were able to complete the construction of the chicken house!
(With funds raised by other friends, we will soon be able to get chicks and get started with the project.)
While men were working on construction, our visitors were enjoying some time with the boys at The Shepherd Center.
They were really generous, bringing some new balls to enjoy. They also spent time hugging on the little ones and playing games with the big ones. A big treat we enjoyed was an afternoon at the pool at a nearby hotel. The boys loved the day of swimming!
On their last night, Jacob broke out his music. He and Catherine led a dance contest with the boys, bringing big smiles all around.
We really enjoyed having these friends come and visit & hope to see them again!

That is so great ! It looks like a great time was experienced by all the boys and adults. Thanks to Jacob and Catherine for their investment of love, time and resources into these boys and TSC.
