With a grand opening the last Sunday of January, and a major push in fundraising to finish the house on time in the same month, The Shepherd Center has been a busy construction zone!
In the last week, a large crew of hardworking men did a ton of work.
Plumbing, flooring, plastering, painting, and so much more.
The building was transforming before our eyes every hour!
We are very happy to say that the building is finished, was ready to show off to those that helped us celebrate its opening on January 29th, and most importantly: the rooms are already occupied!
Several boys who used to call the streets of Kabale their home, now have newly constructed beds to sleep on, complete with sheets and warm blankets.
We are SO thankful for all of you who donated specifically for this construction project! We have seen God’s mighty hand at work through you!
Pray with us that God uses this new home to bring healing to the boys who stay in it.
